My 2012 New Year's resolution is to learn to let go and move forward - two things that have proven to be very difficult for me in the past. I have a tendency to cling to what I know in hopes of preventing pain or uncertainty about the future. In retrospect, this habit hasn't prevented pain or uncertainty at all. In fact, I'm more hurt and confused now than ever before. I don't want to be that person anymore. I don't want to miss out on any more opportunity because I'm afraid of what lies in store for my future. I've only been holding myself back from being genuinely happy. So with this new year, I will be letting go of the bad, the old and the mundanely familiar in hopes of starting fresh. This is why Mmmacs will be no more as of December 31st, 2011. Although I have loved my blog and those of you who have followed it for the past year, it's time for me to move forward and dedicate my time to other aspects of my life.
